"The Gift of Christmas" Giveaway
On Monday, December 16, 2024 President Pro Tempore Regina Barrow will be hosting her Annual Christmas Giveaway Event “The Gift of Christmas.”
This event was created as a result of helping families who were affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Due to the ongoing need in the community, President Pro Tempore Regina Barrow has continued this event to help families and children during the Christmas season. Each year, we provide gifts and a meal for families with approximately 500 plus children able to receive!
This event normally consists of: a short program followed by a community resource fair, pictures with Santa, a hot meal, and wonderful Christmas toy giveaways for the children.
However, in 2020 and this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Senator Barrow hosts a "Drive-Through" Gift Giveaway to continue her outreach efforts during this difficult time!
